Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation provides varied programs and services which will contribute to the health and well- being of the University of Maryland community. It is the mission of this department to educate participants in the responsible use of leisure by providing an atmosphere which fosters the development of lifelong patterns of recreational activity and opportunities for participation in such activity for all members of the university community, regardless of age, sex, race, or motor ability.

Career Center and The President’s Promise, in partnership with faculty, employers, alumni and others, empowers students to learn life-long career development skills and make meaningful contributions to their communities. The Center is the lead unit on the campus providing career services to all students in all colleges, across all degree levels. The Center promotes a learning environment where student academic study and career goals work together to ensure success at the University and in employment/graduate study upon degree completion. The Center adheres to and promotes the highest professional standards and ethics in all its programs, services and collaborations.

Conferences and Visitor Services is comprised of three main areas of focus: Summer Conference Services, Meeting Planning Services and Visitor Services. Counseling Center is "the primary place where the most highly specialized psychological and educational skills are applied to the resolution of students’ problems–the place where the student gets the kind of attention that he or she cannot get in any other place in the University. The Counseling Center provides free and confidential services by professional psychologists and counselors for all University of Maryland students and other members of the campus community.
